Don’t miss Amy Lynn and the Honey Men for one night only! Her 8 piece band with a 3 piece horn section is dynamite. It will be a memorable e

The vocal gymnastics Amy Lynn can pull off in a mini-skirt and stilettos would have Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Mariah Carey on their feet by curtain call. As each of these women has done before her, Amy Lynn brings her own unique flair to the diva tradition, adding a quirky, down-to-earth humor to her front woman role that lands Amy Lynn and & The Honey Men in a league of their own. The Honey Men, lead by lovebirds, Amy & Alex, has a 60’s soul, rock & blues sound marked with powerhouse singing and infectious horn licks as especially fertile ground on which to showcase their combined talents. They met in Zurich, Switzerland where Amy Lynn was doing a production of Grease Das Musical & Alex was playing the sax in the pit. A dance off at the opening night party is what sealed the deal. Some of their favorites that they opened for together as a duo is George Clinton & The P-Funk Band & Slick Rick. Apart, Alex’s fave performances have been with St. Vincent, Spoon, Yoko Ono & The Asphalt Orchestra at Lincoln Center. He is on The National record and recently the Incredibles 2 soundtrack honking his Bari. He also had chairs in the Broadway Musicals Prince of Broadway & Escape to Margaritaville. Amy’s favorite endeavors have been opening up for one of her favorite singers, Beth Hart, performing in Beehive @The Kennedy Center, The Radio City Xmas Spectacular in NYC, Hedwig & The Angry Inch at Short North Stage in Columbus & performing at stages throughout the country doing her Janis Joplin show. Together, their music has been played on radio stations throughout the US, Canada, and Japan. Given the Honey Men’s standout showmanship and feel-good energy, it’s no wonder that their performances all have met with Glowing Reviews-Better stay tuned: they’ll soon be tearing up a stage near you:when we can breathe the same air as people again.
