Originally from Brazil, Jamile is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after vocalists in the New York scene. Considered a rising star vocalist that’s “Blessed with a deep and richly hued singing voice (…).” (Seton Hawkins, Hot House Magazine), she has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world including Mezzrow, Smalls Jazz Club, Birdland, Minton’s Playhouse and Jazz At Lincoln Center, and has received high praise for her performances internationally. Jamile captivates audiences with her unique phrasing and heartfelt tone influenced by the vocal jazz tradition united with her unique Brazilian roots. Her debut album “If You Could See Me Now” featuring the great Steve Wilson is available on all platforms.
Hailing from Hartford, CT and son of two internationally renowned jazz musicians, Tony Davis has made himself known as one of the most unique upcoming voices on the guitar today. Based in Manhattan, he regularly performs at some of NYC’s most notable venues such as The Blue Note, Smalls, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Birdland Jazz Club. He has performed with giants of jazz such as Christian McBride, Abraham Burton, Joe Farnsworth and Harold Mabern. Tony has played major festivals such as The Newport Jazz Festival and Greater Hartford Jazz Festival, and was featured as a rising star guitarist in the 2016 Wes Montgomery Tribute Festival in Indianapolis, IN. He also recently led his own group on tour throughout some of Mexico’s top stages including Zinco, Cauz and Parker & Lenox. In 2019 Davis released his debut album “Golden Year”, which features an all-star lineup including: Dezron Douglass, Eric McPherson, Steve Davis, Alina Engibaryan, Steve Wilson and David Bryant. In March 2021 he released his first solo (guitar and voice) project with an EP entitled “Tres Palabras”.
