With this Trio album, Jinjoo finished her CD release tour in Spain, Greece and Italy successfully.
Jinjoo can be often seen performing as a leader or sideman around New York City. Her group regularly performs with various settings including Duo, Trio, Quartet, and Quintet.
This time Jinjoo is bringing her drumless trio featuring an ever-swinging rhythm section: Kihong Jang on guitar, and Chris Haney on Bass. As a special guest, Jinjoo invited bass clarinetist Stefano Doglioni whose dexterity in music and imaginative improvisation immediately captures people’s ears upon listening.
The band present Jinjoo’s recent compositions as well as her arrangements on jazz classics including compositions of Bud Powell, Tadd Dameron, Charlie Parker, and Gigi Gryce.
