Birdland favorite, pianist Joe Alterman leads his trio in celebration of a new Live at Birdland release. The Atlanta Georgia native has performed around the world with jazz legends Houston Person, Dick Gregory, and Les McCann, who called Alterman, “tiny, but only in stature. As a man and a musician he is already a giant.”
