Led by trombonist and composer Sean Nelson, the New London Big Band brings an eclectic mix of Count Basie inspired swing, world music influences, and some unorthodox instruments – ever heard electric trombone? They will be celebrating the release of their debut studio album Social Hour! via MAMA Records. Based in Connecticut, the musicians hail from all over New England and include many enlisted members of the U.S. Coast Guard Band.
